Celebrating craftsmanship, applying traditional skills in contemporary ways, to reinvent ceramics, the Craven Dunnill Jackfield mission is simple: to offer a complete restoration service for the faithful manufacture of ceramics for the heritage market, and to use those same skills in the production of bespoke ceramics for the commercial interiors market.

Since Craven Dunnill & Co’s formation in 1872, the company has continually invested in new approaches to production by embracing new technologies. This was fundamental in the decision to develop its own purpose-built factory at Jackfield in Ironbridge Gorge, Shropshire, UK. It is part of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site at the heart of Britain’s Industrial Revolution.

Burleigh and Craven Dunnill Jackfield share a long and illustrious history and heritage in British ceramic handcraft and have a mutual appreciation and commitment to manufacturing ceramic products with integrity and authenticity.

In a unique collaboration, launched in 2021, we partnered with Craven Dunnill Jackfield to reimagine our iconic Calico pattern in pressed and cast wall tiles, to create walls with a piece of ceramic history. These are designed and handmade in the UK, showcasing the very best of British design.
