Dimensions and Capacities
Here at Burleigh we understand that sometimes pottery has to be just the right size to suit your needs, so we have made the table below to help you pick your perfect pieces.
Certain patterns have a particular name attached to the form of their plates, teacup, saucers and teapots. These can be seen below as Willow, Windsor and Cranbourne
Willow
Patterns that use the Willow form are, Calico, Felicity, Arden and Willow
Patterns that have a Willow form will appear to have a slightly scalloped edge to their shape.
Willow teacups differ as they feature a fluted rim with a squared off handle
Willow teapots have a rounded lid with a square topped handle.
Windsor
Patterns that use the Windsor form are, Asiatic Pheasants and Regal Peacock Plates.
Patterns that have a Windsor form will appear to have a smooth round edge to their shape.
Windsor teacups differ as they feature a smooth rim with a rounded handle
Windsor teapots have a rounded lid with a rounded handle, the knob of the lid is flat on top and in some cases decorated.
Cranbourne
The Cranbourne form only features in Regal Peacock, in the items Cream Jug, Covered Sugar and Large Teapot.
Cranbourne items include more ornately shaped handles and lids making them slightly wider and taller than similar items in other patterns.
